Paws up Ellen Emerson of Vermont Programmers for her excellent work on the GMAD website.
Paws up Morning DJ Bob of Star 92.9 who read a touching animal story on air highlighting how some people consider animals "disposable." He made a point to listeners that owning an animal is a responsibility and also pointed them to where they could get more information about apartments and hotels that allow pets.
Paws up The School of Medicine at the University of California, who will not be performing invasive procedures on live domestic canines. Up until this semester, dogs were used in six-hour teaching labs and were killed once the class was over.
Paws up Everyone whose acts of kindness, large and small, help ease the suffering of animals and protect the environment.
Paws up Monica Farrington for rescuing, transporting, and generously supporting the rescue of skunks, pidgeons, gulls, dogs, and just about any creature that needs a lift and some medical attention. You're a star Monica!
Paws up Lindsey Deon for hosting a wonderful vegan dinner to raise awareness about the cruelty associated with puppy mills, and for organizing and hosting our annual garage sale
Paws up Whit Hewit for fostering twenty mice that were formerly used for research purposes. He has currently found a good home for four of the mice and continues to care for the rest.
Paws up Cecilia Telefus for her fabulous squirrel and bunny rescue.
